Instructions for users

Self Help Guides are as the coach to the tennis player. The coach can guide the player in what they must do, but it is the player who must get on the practice court and do the work. This is why Self Help Guides are kept specific and succinct, focused on a particular topic with text and worksheets. This blends advice with exercises that consolidate the skill and understanding in amounts able to be worked on in a reasonable time. Likely it will take four to eight weeks of conscientious effort to digest and take aboard the advice in a single guide. So do not buy too many at once, buy one or two, work through them over two or three months, consolidate the advice and any changes you want to make with you, then sit down and think, ‘what next?’

Every Guide specific

Each Self Help Guide is specific to title, and provides detailed information and guidelines on how you can do it, or do it better.

Wide range of topics

It is our intention to provide a guide on any and all topics of interest to people. Whether it is on new age crystals, how to make a sale, how to improve your chess or how to prune your roses we will offer a guide.

The only proviso is that the topic must be one where it some learning or skill or increase in understanding is sought and is appropriate.

You can suggest topics

If you have a topic and it is not covered, then please submit your suggestion. We will respond within a few days and advise if we believe it is feasible and meets our criteria as put above. We will then seek out a qualified person to produce the guide and will advise you of we think the guide will be available.

Invest in yourself you will and enjoy the success and growth.

ü Top sheet is the title page on one side plus copyright information on the other.

ü Second sheet is the index plus the introduction and summary of the guide. Note that you can view these two sheets (four pages) plus four other of the actual guide material before you buy to ensure it is suited to your needs.

ü There will be at least thirty and no more than fifty sheets each of two pages that then offer the advice and guidance so that so you can do it or understand it better than you did before. Each sheet will have a text and advice on one side, then questions and exercises on the other as above.

Our promise is that if you are prepared to invest in yourself we will guide you on how to quickly achieve the result.

Easy to buy and download

The whole system of Self Help Guides is designed to be convenient for you. First, there is not too much in any one guide and it is carefully designed to get the result. Second it is convenient to download, not too much, on standard paper, and does not take long.

1. Select your guide(s).

2. Put them in your shopping cart.

3. When you want to check out, complete your credit card details and put a tick in the box that you understand and accept the copyright agreement.

4. Ensure you include your current email address, or you will not be able to open the file of the Self Help Guide when it arrives.

5. Once the credit card transaction is confirmed, which typically takes a couple of minutes, then the download will automatically begin. If it is not convenient for you immediately, then tick the box and you can do it at some later date. To do so keep the emailed password to the file, then when you want to download, visit the site, go to the page ‘Download pre-purchased guide’, use your password to access the guide.

6. While the guide is downloading you will be emailed the password to the file.

7. Use the password to access the file and to print it out. Details with the guide will tell you how much paper, the type of printer and how long it would normally take.

Check before you buy

With each guide there is available on the site preview-material, which will always include the title page, index and introduction and summary. Then there will always be another four sections of the guide. This will enable you to have a good look at what you are buying exactly as you would if you bought the book in a retail bookstore.

Invest in yourself you will be thrilled at the result

Finding the guide for you

Searching the site is easy and there are several ways to find just the guide you want.

1. Look at the categories of guides (there is a description of each category in the category listing), then select the category that best meets your interest and review the titles in that category. Remember each title does describe the nature of the guide, and you can view the summary and example of each guide.

2. If you know the category, but there are too many titles to scan, you can then apply the key word list to that category.

3. To search the whole site select the ‘whole site’ search, then you can use keywords or authors or title or a more general subject search.

Remember, if the guide you want is not there contact us and we will look to get it for you.

Building Self Help Guides into your personal development folder

By retaining and storing your guides so your efforts become a record of your investment in yourself and build into your personal self-development folder.

How to store guides

Because the guides are a convenient A4 or equivalent they can be easily stored in a loose-leaf file, and able to be viewed landscape.

Separators can be used to keep different guides separate.

Guides in one topic or category can be kept together in one file and so become a ‘manual’ on that topic.

Updating of guides

As part of our product policy we will up-date all guides each year. This ensures the guides are kept abreast with the developments in a field. Also we will incorporate comments and suggestions we receive on how any guide could or should be developed to improve its effectiveness.

Keeping you in touch

In a world that is changing and developing so fast it is important to keep in touch. We will help you do that by sending a short monthly newsletter by email that will tell you of any new guides, changes to the guides, lots of advice and encouragement on investing in yourself and any other pertinent information. You will receive this newsletter free with any purchase, or you can sign on and receive it free without a purchase.

Getting the best possible result for you

We know that the really hard part of investing in yourself is keeping at it. Our part and that of the author is the easy part. To help you ‘keep at it’ we will contact you as follows after every purchase.

1. After three weeks will email encouragement and some additional advice on how to make the most of the guide you purchased.

2. After seven weeks we will provide further guidance and lots of encouragement, including a reminder to you of what you must of been trying to achieve in buying that guide.

3. After three months, we will send advice and encouragement, an assessment form so you can judge your progress and suggestions on what to do next.
