In order to deal with a personal tragedy, I began to write. I published over 500 poems, books and articles including "The Write Focus", a booklet about passion and writing, while working as a paralegal at a law firm and getting a B. A. in Sociology from the University of Colorado. I decided to pursue film to reach a larger audience.

I attended the Hollywood Film Institute and graduated as a feature film producer, cinema director and line producer. I wrote "The Crown", a finalist in Sundance's Screenwriters' Lab Pool, which I got to Disney through a New York agent. I sold "The Crown", it was produced, the name was changed to "Born to Win", and the producer is now looking for a distributor. During this time, I was also a writer/associate producer with American Pictures Corporation, Inc. for "The Lost Heart" and "Born to Kill." I also became a writer/consultant for MGM/Law Brothers Productions' "Warriors of Virtue."

Another screenplay I wrote, "The Caller", was a winner in the "Writer's Digest" Scripts Competition and a semi-finalist in Chesterfield Film Company's Writer's Film Project.

I became an extra in 20th Century Fox's "Die Hard 2"; NBC's "Crash: The Mystery of Flight 1501"; and ABC's "Father Dowling", to study directing and filmmaking.

I also founded Olympus Films +. I have written, directed and produced "Faces", a documentary film about human diversity, and "Oh, The Places You Can Go...", an educational video about kids in transition. In my spare time, I am writing a new screenplay and a novel.

I live in Littleton, Colorado with my wife, Dixie, and our 17 year-old cat, Panther. When the light hits Panther's eyes just right, they cut an elliptical path through his moss green irises. Juxtaposing this phenomenal image against the sleek, black hair that covers his entire body, a likeness to what God might look like, comes forth.
